An electric fan made of bamboo became the main attraction at the Centennial Celebration in Bangued, Abra.
The Abra Centennial celebration has officially launched the Centennial Bazaar at the Abra Sports complex.
The event is the time where people celebrate and promote the bamboo industry. Many bamboo artists participated the event.
Governor Maria Jocelyn V. Bernos in her welcome remarks extended her gratitude to all artists exhibitors and bamboo advocates who made bazaar possible.
Many were amazed by the extraordinary designs being displayed in the exhibit. Wherein all bamboo artists displayed their extraordinary designs like Centennial cup and trophies, frog-like hamper, vases and picture frames made of bamboo, tall bamboo lampshades and many more.
The exhibit has earned positive comments and admiration from the public. But an electric fan made of bamboo became the main attraction at the Centennial the Abra Centennial celebration.
The DTI Director Myrna Pablo, one of the special guest during the celebration congratulated Abra for their one-of-a-kind Bamboo display that she saw like the bamboo electric fan.
“Ang galling naman. It’s my first time to see something like this.” she said.
The launching of the Centennial Bazaar at the Abra Sports Complex was successful.
The Abra’s Centennial celebration will be open until March 12, 2017.
